LIABILITY
Serenity-Retreat.com provides accommodation in accordance with
the Terms and Conditions. Serenity-Retreat.com is not liable for
circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control, including
wars, acts of terrorism, riots, strikes, natural disasters, sanitary
interruptions, restrictions by local authorities, etc.
RESERVATION
AND PAYMENT
Inquiries and reservations of accommodation can be done by e-mail,
fax, mail or in person at Serenity Retreat. When booking, the
customer confirms that he is familiar and accepts Terms and Conditions
in their entirety. Thus, everything stated in the Terms and Conditions
becomes legally binding for both the customer and Serenity Retreat.com.
When making a reservation, the customer is required to give all
the information necessary in the booking
procedure. When booking, the customer is also required
to provide Serenity Retreat with certified check or money order
valid in Croatia for the amount of 1st night required accommodation.
This check must be received at least 10 days prior to customer’s
arrival. This amount is non-refundable, unless customer cancels
reservation up to 10 days before expected date of arrival. The
rest of the money for customer accommodation will be collected
upon arrival.
TOURIST
TAX
According to the Croatian Law, tourists are required to pay the
Tourist Tax when paying for their accommodation. The Tourist Tax
in the Republic of Croatia on island Brač is approximately 0.9
EUR per day for adults. Children from the age of 12 to 18 have
a 50% discount, while children under the age of 12 don’t
pay the tax.
PRICE OF
ACCOMMODATION
Tourist Tax is not included in the prices quoted. The price of
accommodation includes: water, electricity, kitchen utensils and
tableware, towels, use of safe deposit box, weekly change of bed
linen, and cleaning of the apartment on the departure day. Extra
Services are not included in the price of accommodation. These
services must be arranged in advance, and are subject to availability.
Children under age of 8 years sleep free if sharing the bed with
adults. Children over 8 years of age are classified as adults
for the purpose of price determination at Serenity Retreat. Free
courtesy pick-up service at ferry harbour might be available for
gusts staying 14 nights and over. Subject to availability. Late
check in/check out must be arranged in advance. Late check out
will be charged at a daily accommodation rate, which is only 30%
of our overnight rate. Subject to availability.
If more customers than are stated on the reservation confirmation
arrive at the accommodation unit, the Serenity Retreat has the
right to deny the extra customers accommodation or to accommodate
all of the customers at extra charge.
CATEGORIZATION
AND SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Categorization in Republic of Croatia is done by the authorized
officials. Standards for accommodation and services differ from
country to country, and cannot be compared.
RIGHT TO
CHANGES AND CANCELLATION
Serenity Retreat.com reserves the right to change, modify or cancel
a reservation in case of circumstances caused by conditions beyond
its control that cannot be predicted or avoided. In these exceptional
circumstances, the customer will be notified ahead of time. Serenity
Retreat.com guarantees that the complete refund will be issued
in the case of cancellation.
The customer has the right to change a reservation in a written
form (fax, mail, or e-mail) up to 10 days prior to arrival, free
of charge, subject to availability. The customer has the right
to cancel the reservation in a written form up to 10 days before
arrival, and the 1st night accommodation payment will be refunded,
but the customer will be charged 20 EUR cancellation fee.
Should the customer not arrive at the Serenity Retreat before
midnight on the arrival date, and the customer has not informed
Serenity Retreat of any changes, the reservation is considered
to be cancelled.
SERENITY-RETREAT.COM’s
OBLIGATIONS
It is Serenity-Retreat.com obligation to provide described services
and protect customer’s interests and rights according to
accepted tourist customs. Serenity Retreat is not eligible for
damaged, destroyed, lost, or stolen luggage and belongings of
its customers, either inside or outside the accommodation units.
Serenity-Retreat.com cannot guarantee to provide all described
services in situations beyond its control.
CUSTOMER'S
OBLIGATIONS
The customer is required to obey house rules of Serenity Retreat,
and show respect and consideration to other guests and neighbors.
By confirming the reservation, the customer accepts to pay Serenity
Retreat for all the material damages caused by his actions and
negligence. It is also entirely customer’s responsibility
to have valid travel documents, including visa if required, and
obey customs regulations and currency exchanges of Republic of
Croatia.
COMPLAINTS
Should the services provided not be satisfactory, the customer
has the right to complain in written form. Serenity Retreat guarantees
to answer to all the complaints within 10 days after the complaint
was received.
